Short Description: Blues Cowboys provides, blues, blues-flavored rock and roll, with a side of edgy country.

Bio: The Blues Cowboys are a group of friends who've played music together in some form or another most of their lives, often with each other. The group began when David "Uncle Buck" McPherson began having bands appear at his rustic saloon and dance barn in the deep-country near New Marshfield, Ohio. The band now appears in its present form about once a month, inside the Lady Buck Saloon, which can hold about 50 people, in the winter months, and outside in the dance barn, which holds 500 or more, as it has no walls on one and a half of its sides. Blues Cowboys have also ventured off the farm and have taken their brand of blues to other venues mostly in SE Ohio.

Members of the band play in various other groups, from solo acts to duos and trios and more, but they all enjoy the ultimate freedom of expression possible in the Blues Cowboys and always manage to impart their joy and abandon onto their crowds.

Band Influences: Allman Bros., Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Cream, Delbert McClinton, Merle Haggard, Johnny Winters, Albert King, Jose Cuervo, Miller Highlife, and pure spring water
